Foundation

The NWFCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3), promotes and manages NWFCU’s charitable activities and participates in financial literacy education and other programs that reflect the interests of our membership and the community as a whole.

Established in December 2004 to promote and manage Northwest Federal Credit Union's philanthropic activities, our Foundation has grown tremendously. NWFCU Foundation has awarded over $329,000 through the Ben DeFelice and other scholarship programs and has partnered with several local schools to bring financial literacy to thousands of students.

We also participate in and contribute to numerous charitable programs, including community outreach and disaster relief grants, as well as the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run for the benefit of Children's Miracle Network and local Children's Hospitals. Our programs help members and residents in our local community improve their lives.
