Foundation
The NWFCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3), was established in December 2004 to promote and manage Northwest Federal Credit Union's philanthropic activities.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded $204,000 in scholarships through the Ben DeFelice scholarship program and has partnered with several local schools to encourage financial literacy in the classroom. The Foundation also participates in and contributes to numerous charitable programs, including community outreach and disaster relief grants, as well as the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run for the benefit of Children's Miracle Network and local Children's Hospitals.
