NWFCU suggests you request a special travel memo on your credit and debit accounts before traveling within or leaving the U.S. This will help to prevent blocked transactions when using your credit or debit card and help ensure legitimate use of your account. Credit, Debit & Check Alternatives for Travelers
For your protection, as well as stress-free travel, we suggest you have a variety of cash/credit access at hand. In addition to your credit and debit cards, you should also consider taking along single-use or reloadable pre-paid traveler or gift cards to ensure you'll have funds available for purchases should your credit/debit card(s) be blocked or your checkbook become lost or stolen.
UK Postal Money Orders
Due to a recent upswing of fraudulent activity overseas, we have restricted the purchase of postal orders via NWFCU credit card within the United Kingdom.
