Phishing email Claims Recipients Need to Update Their NWFCU Account Information
A phishing email appearing to come from “North West FCU” is currently circulating. Addressed to “North West Federal Credit Union Card Holder”, the email attempts to collect account and password information by claiming the recipient's account information is slightly out of date or incomplete. A “Security Message Alert” is included in the email in an attempt to lure recipients to log-in and resolve the problem.
NWFCU warns, Do NOT click on the link contained in any such email message. Northwest Federal Credit Union does not send emails to resolve member issues. Please forward any such emails to fraud@nwfcu.org and then permanently delete the message from you inbox.
