Not Receiving eStatements?

If you're not receiving your monthly NWFCU eStatement email notification, or are having trouble accessing your eStatement library, you may need to adjust your PC's spam filter and pop-up blocker settings.

If you're not receiving your monthly eStatement email notification:

1. Make sure you've updated your email address with us if you've changed it since signing up for eStatements. It's easy to do: just log into your eStatement library and click on “Change Address.” You'll be asked to fill out a simple form that you can submit electronically.

2. Today's Internet Service Providers (ISPs) often have spam filters that help prevent unwanted email messages from flooding your inbox. Many ISPs now require you to select the email addresses from which you'll accept messages; any email addresses that are not on your “acceptable” email list will be categorized as spam and automatically deleted.

To prevent NWFCU email messages from being seen as spam, please be sure to add postmaster@nwfcu.org to your “acceptable” email address list. If your ISP blocks these addresses, you will not receive your eStatement email notification alerting you that your eStatement is ready to view, or any other pertinent electronic communications from NWFCU.

If you're having trouble accessing your eStatement library:

If you're unable to access your eStatement library, your ISP's pop-up blocker settings could be the culprit.

Many ISPs automatically provide pop-up blocker software, which prevents any pop-up boxes from appearing when you access websites that contain them. However, not all pop-ups are bad. With NWFCU eStatements, you'll receive a pop-up box letting you know that you are entering a secure site–you must click OK to continue. If your pop-up blocking software is enabled, you won't receive this pop-up box, and you'll be unable to continue to your eStatement library.

Fortunately, many ISPs will allow you to pick and choose the sites from which you will accept pop-up boxes. In this case, you simply need to add www.nwfcu.org to your “acceptable” pop-up box list.

AOL Users (version 5.0 or higher):

To allow email from NWFCU:

1. In “Mail Controls”, click on the “People and Places” item in the “Table of Contents” to the left on the “Mail Controls” screen.

2. Select your preference for allowing or blocking email from particular people and places by clicking once on the setting. The circle next to the setting will become dark, indicating that it has been selected.

3. Type postmaster@nwfcu.org in the box provided and click “Add.”

MSN Users (version 8.0):

To allow email from NWFCU:

1. In “Mail Controls,” add postmaster@nwfcu.org to your Contact list. If your spam filters are set at “Enhanced” or “Exclusive” adding these addresses to your personal Contact list will allow your eStatement email notification, and other NWFCU email communications, to be delivered to your inbox.
