Official Sweepstakes Rules
- Sponsor: The DRIVE Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Northwest Federal Credit Union (“Sponsor” or “Northwest Federal”). This drawing is not sponsored or managed by the Pro-Football, LLC d/b/a Washington Commanders (“Team”) or the National Football League.
- Prize: One eligible participant will be selected by Northwest Federal for a weekly prize between 8/17/26 through 1/25/27. Winners will be awarded one of the following prizes, as determined at the discretion of the Sponsor: Washington Commanders Club Level game tickets (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $250/ticket), Lower-Level game tickets (ARV: $200/ticket), or Washington Commanders merchandise and swag (ARV: up to $300). Prize items and promotional materials will vary based on availability and will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
The promotion period will be divided into weekly entry periods determined by Sponsor. One random drawing may be conducted during each weekly entry period from among all eligible participants for that period. Participants may, at Sponsor’s discretion, roll into subsequent drawings during the Promotion Period.
No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes is permitted except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
- How to Enter: Eligible participants who open a qualifying first-ever Primary Savings Account using the promotional landing page at nwfcu.org/DriveToSave or by using the promo code DRIVE during account opening during the promotion period (8/14/26 – 1/25/27) will automatically receive one entry into the applicable weekly Sweepstakes drawing. The participant must be an active Northwest Federal member and be in good standing, as determined by the Sponsor at the time of each drawing.
No additional action is required to be entered into the Sweepstakes.
Completion of the deposit bonus requirements described in the promotional The DRIVE disclosure is not required to receive Sweepstakes entries or to be eligible to win a Sweepstakes prize.
NO PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Eligible participants age 18 or older may enter Sweepstakes without establishing an account by submitting a handwritten entry card in the branch. One (1) entry per member, per drawing. Participant must handprint their full name, last four digits of their NWFCU member number, telephone number, and email address on a 3×5 index card and drop it off in your local branch. Entries must be delivered in person no later than two (2) business days before the applicable weekly Tuesday drawing date to qualify.
Sweepstakes sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries. All entries become property of Northwest, and none will be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with, violating, or abusing any aspect of the contest. Alternate method of entries will have the same chance of winning as all other eligible entries.
- Contest Period: The Sweepstakes begins August 17, 2026 and ends January 25, 2027 (“Promotion Period”). During the Promotion Period, eligible participants will receive one entry into weekly promotional prize drawings conducted by Sponsor. Prize details, and prize quantities will be disclosed in promotional materials associated with each weekly drawing.
- Eligibility: All participants must be 18 years of age or older at time of contest entry, must be a legal resident of one of the fifty states of the United States or the District of Columbia, and be members in good standing of Northwest Federal Credit Union (as determined by sponsor in its sole discretion).
The Sweepstakes is separate from The DRIVE Deposit Bonus Promotion. Eligibility for weekly Sweepstakes drawings is obtained through qualifying account opening and does not require satisfaction of the Initial Deposit, Monthly Deposit, balance retention, or bonus qualification requirements associated with the deposit bonus program.
Employees of the Credit Union and members of their household are not eligible to register for the contest. Participants must be subscribed to Credit Union marketing emails or calls at the time of each weekly prize drawing to be eligible to win and receive prize. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.
- Sweepstakes Entry Requirements: In the event Northwest Federal, in its sole discretion, determines that any entry does not comply with these Official Rules or does not otherwise comply with regulatory guidelines, Northwest Federal reserves the right to disqualify the selected winners.
- Determining the Winners Notification: Prize winners will be notified by email address on record. The winner must respond to Northwest Federal Credit Union within 48 hours of notification to receive the prize. Failure of the winner to respond within the required time period will result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in prize, and selection of a substitute winner. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. No substitutions allowed by winners.
Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Northwest Federal reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Prize may be delivered electronically and will include necessary instructions for accessing tickets. Winners may be required to download smartphone applications to redeem electronic ticket prize.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted; fails to respond within the timeframe specified by Sponsor; is determined to be ineligible; or fails to complete any required documentation, the potential winner may be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected.
- Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the contest.
By accepting the prize, winner agrees as follows:
I confirm that I have complied with all eligibility requirements as required by the Credit Union as provided in the contest rules. I am a U.S. resident and was at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. I further confirm that I am not an employee of the Credit Union and do not live in the same household as an employee of the Credit Union.
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes due as a winner of the contest where applicable. I understand that the Credit Union cannot and has not provided advice regarding potential taxes that may be due and recognize that I may wish to seek independent advice to determine the full extent of my tax liability under state and federal laws and regulations.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for any other expenses that may become due as a result of my winning the prize.
I understand and agree that the Credit Union is not responsible for, and makes no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, regarding the prize and its quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or condition.
I agree to indemnify and to hold harmless the Credit Union, its officers, employees and agents from any loss, claims or damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, resulting from or relating to, directly or indirectly, my participation in the contest and winning the contest prize.
I grant to the Credit Union, the right to use, re-use, reproduce, broadcast, publish, edit or prepare derivative works, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other information or photographs, on any of Credit Unions’ web sites, social media, YouTube or in any other public or private medium and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not limited to) education, promotion, advertising, videos and other marketing (the “Permitted Uses”) my name, likeness, images, or any statements in connection therewith if Credit Union so chooses.
I understand and agree that by entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless, NWFCU, the Washington Commanders, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the sweepstakes or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.
I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product or products, advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
I hereby release and discharge Credit Union its agents, employees, officers, successors or assigns from any and all claims and demands I may now or hereafter have arising out of or in connection with the Permitted Uses of the Profile, including, without limitation, any and all claims for the right of privacy, publicity, libel or slander and any and all claims and/or demands for royalties associated therewith.
