Overview
The Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM) will work closely with the business banking team and the various retail channels to drive production. The CRM is responsible for the generation and management of all commercial loans. The CRM will be responsible for originating new commercial loans in Virginia market and will focus on OOCRE, C&I and SBA Lending. The Commercial Relationship Manager will also be responsible for the generation, pre-screening and management for new commercial loans, with objectives related to loan production, portfolio growth, fee income, profitability, credit quality, loan delinquencies, member service, and personnel development.

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and compliant servicing of mortgage loans, in alignment with regulatory requirements established by the CFPB, RESPA, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), investors, and other governing bodies. This role encompasses a range of key servicing functions, Support mortgage servicing by finalizing new loan paperwork, organizing documents for review, managing insurance payments, assisting with property damage claims, and reporting on homes affected by natural disasters.
Additionally, the specialist is expected to perform essential servicing duties such as processing loan payoffs and releases, applying payments, and delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external members. Overview
The Collections Team oversee's the critical and time-sensitive effort of settling delinquent loans or negative accounts while helping the credit union mitigate financial losses. In the role as a Collections Specialist, team members recover past due payments on auto loans, credit cards, signature loans, lines of credit and negative savings accounts. This role also includes the ability to be able to negotiate with members as well as work to find alternative payment solutions in order to keep delinquency low in order to mitigate loss.

The Consumer Lending Underwriter is responsible for evaluating and underwriting consumer loan applications in accordance with NWFCU’s established lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on making timely, accurate, and well-structured lending decisions by analyzing creditworthiness, verifying documentation, identifying risk, and supporting portfolio quality. The underwriter serves as a subject-matter resource to lending staff, promotes appropriate loan products that add value for members, and ensures full compliance with Credit Union policies and federal regulations while contributing to strong member experience and overall lending performance.

This team offers/sells the Credit Union’s indirect financing and manages promotional programs, provides market competitive reports, and identifies new dealers that fit the Credit Union’s business plan. They also review loan applications against credit criteria and credit union policy to make credit decisions for approval.
